Senior High Leaders
Jeremy and Sarah Parker- They are the veterans of the leaders
as they have been serving the youth since 2003. Sarah is a women's small group
leader and the Greet Team Leader. Jeremy is committed to do whatever is asked of
him and is the man with the plan when it comes to weekly games and fun.
Joel and Diane Rapp- Joel is a guy's small group leader
and has a passion for reaching the guys of the group. He is a jack-of-all
trades and can build a mean campfire. Diane leads a women's small group,
is an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan, and is always willing to step out and meet
other's needs.
Alex Horsfall- Alex is a one of SAF's own and is a
guy's small group leader. He also helps with the worship teams and is
involved in our 4:12 college ministry. Alex leads the way in hospitality and welcoming new people to church and youth group!
Abe Horsfall- When he’s
not at Chic-Fil-A, Abe is hanging out with the guys in youth group and playing
his guitar. He leads worship for SH and
is a guys small group leader.
Charlotte Carver- As well as being a parent of two teenage girls, she leads a small group as well as being a major intercessor for the teens and parents.
Ken Sawders-Ken is a guy's small group leader and has thing for the outdoors. Along with being a great guy, Ken enjoys planning retreats for the guys in the group. These include paintball, airsoft wars, and capture the flag among other things!
Kelley Parker-
A worship leader and small group
leader, Kelley has served already in our Junior High ministry and 4:12
ministry! She brings experience and relevance to the girls in the
group! We are glad to have K
elley leading with SH!
Citer Trowbridge- Coming from a long line of awesome people, Citer is dedicated
to building up the guys in the youth group and seeing them grow in their walk
with Jesus! He plays a mean guitar and
is attends Akron U.
Steve Trowbridge- He teaches our Sunday School
class with passion and insight into God's Word and has 3 strapping young lads
in the group.
Junior High Leaders
Michael Ray-Mike is our Junior High coordinator
and has two teenage sons, Jake and Josh. Mike is an excellent
communicator and has completely designed The Subway (aka, the Junior High
Room). He loves JH-ers and enjoys the Canoe Trip, Fun Nights, and the
yearly hiking spree!
Heather McAmis- Now holding the record for 4
teenagers in the youth group, Heather has a huge heart for Jesus and is one of
the happiest people you will ever meet. Heather leads a girls small group and helps wherever needed!
Kenny and Ryan Steedly- This dynamic duo is energetic, fun-loving, and passionate about SAF youth and helping them grow in Christ!
Perry Gopp- Perry is an awesome JH leader! He is a father
of two in the youth group and had served in the Children's Ministry for many years. Perry is passionate about the lost, about discipleship, and about the living out Word of God.
Kim Williams- New to the
youth ministry, Kim has vast experience in missions and in discipleship. We are happy to welcome Kim to the team and to
JH ministry!
4:12 (College and Young
Adults)
Sara Bisheimer- Sara Bisheimer is the new 4:12 coordinator. She is passionate about worshipping Christ, equipping the young adults to serve Jesus, and is committed to edifying and encouraging them on their journey with Jesus!
Erick and Lynn Werbecki- New on the scene, they have a
passion to reach teenagers for Christ. We are excited to welcome Erick
and Lynn and their ministry!
Parent Liasian
Charlotte Carver- Charlotte is our parent who
helps to organize communication for parents. She helps to set up meetings
as well as the monthly "Parents Prayer" during the school year.
